About

am me 2 gb

Welcome, welcome, my gorgeous friend, I’m Allison Marie, the “ghost in the machine” so to speak. Thank you from the depths for being here. It moves me more than I can say.

A little about me?  Well. . . I have a mad crush on coffee, tattoos, artists, all things spiritual and nemophilist, monochrome photography, black eyeliner, white wine, dark poetry, bonfires, books (preferably tucked into a gray, rainy day), vintage typewriters and Bukowski.

Poetry is the way I live.  I am an old soul and a full blown place of healing. I’ve known deep, wretched, gutting pain.  Thankfully, not nearly as often as I’ve known deep joy, awe, miracles, redemption, forgiveness, gratitude, passion, love and peace.

My written and spoken work steeps heavy into the mystical side of sensuality and creativity.

To purchase my book, Vein, on Amazon click here.

To purchase a signed copy of Vein visit me on Etsy at AllisonMariePoetry.

Above all, thank you for reading and sharing my work with your friends, family and followers. It truly means to the world to me to know that what I’m working on is making a difference.

With all my deepest love and mad affection,

Allison Marie x

Did you listen to my first podcast by chance? Let’s just say I’m surprised how few people have been called sexy beasts/angels in this world. Let’s go about changing that shall we, love?

Thank you from the depths of my heart for being here and for being such a light in my life. You mean all the stars to me.

“Beginners are edgy, no? A little rowdy, yes? It takes a rebel angel to move out into a new breadth, a new expanse. So let’s keep the courage fresh and coming.” I love that! It is so true. We have to step behind our limits in order to find out where we set them all life long. And that makes us overdoing it for a while – but it is so healthy.

Hello, Allison! You are a blessing. I was feeling “blocked” in my spiritual development over the last week or so, after making such wonderful progress, and I found your page through an article on getting more blog followers (no coincidences, right?). I am so much happier to find your page, than information about blog numbers! I look forward to reading more of your blog. :)

Those blocks are tricky aren’t they? Always inviting us to go deeper, deeper still into learning the wonders of who we truly are.

Thank you SO MUCH for being here and for your spirit. I look forward to growing along side each other!

This year I’ve been wandering around the blogosphere on a quest to find and comment on a positive blog every day, both to improve my attitude and to bring more joy and kindness to the world. Hi I enjoyed your post on success so much I tried to put your link in a brief post I wrote yesterday but I was having trouble so I just wrote the url out for people to copy and paste. You are a very inspirational person. The world needs far more people like you. I commented here yesterday but I may have done something wrong because I don’t see it. I can build a computer from scratch and make it purr like a kitten but I could probably crash the internet sending an email… it’s my cross to bear… :) Thank you for being you…

Thank you for following my blog, flutterings. It seems we have differing views on spirituality. I don’t believe the answers are within ourselves, but in God and his word. I find my own feelings and understandings can be very deceiving. There are Christians who lean that direction, but they are the “beat you over the head with the Bible” kind. That is not what Christ is all about. I have trusted in God for more than forty-five years, and he has not let me down yet. I guess that pretty much sums up my personal spiritual life. Thanks again for the follow, and I will return the favor.

Even though my blog is about drawing, I’m very interested in the spiritual world, since november last year I’ve been experiencing some kind of spiritual awakening, but I’m still kinda blocked. I was searching for the follow button on your page so its easier to keep up with with your posts in my wordpress homepage but couldnt find it so please, enlighten me! :)

      Hello, hello beautiful Bettina,

I am so happy to see you here – thank you so much for coming by! I LOVE your drawings. Your talent is beautiful and clear.

I honor your spiritual awakening. It is truly an exciting thing to begin to become aware of your intuition and the many ways we are in tune with the universe (and the universe communicates with us). As you can probably tell – it is my very favorite thing to talk about. :)

I’m so sorry about the follow button, I’m not sure why it doesn’t appear. But I have an idea how to approach this: I follow your blog, so if you go up to the little gray quote block up there to the top right corner, go across to “Follows” and click to open up and see a list of all of your followers, I should be in the list with a little + button that will allow you to follow me back.

Would you mind letting me know if that works? I would love to know you and I can stay in touch. :)

I TOTALLY understand about emails! It’s much better to do what feels most comfortable for you.

Thank you for your spirit and light – I’m sending you inspired vibes, my friend. Xx

    Hello lovely Allison.
I see you “liked” my Wednesday Writer’s Quote blog post.
From looking at your own blog, I think that you will be particularly interested in some of the posts I have under my Titbits tab on my blog. To save you having to explore every inch, let me point you at “June’s Epitaph,” and then at some of my poetry (I use the term loosely because I realise I am one of the world’s worst poets, but it means something to me): “Gone,” “Death is not the end” and “Flutter Away.”
All three of those poems relate to the quote that I used today.
If you have time, take a look around my blog. Most of the Titbits will make you chuckle, and you may like my time-traveling coach tours. The big objective of my blog is to promote my debut novel: Eleven Miles. If you re-blog the page “About Eleven Miles”, I will love you forever, and you and I know that goes beyond physical death!
    Namaste.

I am an artist, a writer, a poet, an old soul and a full blown place of healing. I’ve known deep, wretched, gutting pain. Thankfully, not nearly as often as I’ve known deep joy, awe, miracles, redemption, forgiveness, gratitude, passion, love and peace.

Yes Alis. the good always win; light over darkness.

Haha, okay deal on the white wine! ;)

Thank you, too, so much, for checking out my writing. It means so much to me. Wishing you every beautiful thing on your creative journey, dear Charley.

“I am an old soul and a full blown place of healing” – what a wonderful line that is. I’ll be back to read some more, but here in Conwy (or as the English say, Conway) bed beckons.

    Hi there Allison.

I’m a Worpdress blogger and I see you have published a debut book of poetry on Amazon.

Would you like to be featured for free on my website as part of my Author Interviews Series? I myself am an award winning poet and would be keen to provide you with an Interview Questionnaire to find out more about your poetry, along with sharing your messages of creativity and inspiration with my readers.

Many thanks and look forward to hearing your answer.
